YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Longtime ‘Disneylander’ Ernie McLean has passed away today.
Truly sad to hear of this: while I never spoke to Mr. McLean that I recall, I certainly got used to seeing him at the park and he was ingrained as being part of the park I thought would always be there. I always enjoyed stopping to listen to him play with the small crowd that would gather down at the end of Royal Street near the Court of Angels in New Orleans Square.
McLean played the park five days a week well into his 80’s, and had worked with famous rock and blues musicians early in his career before being hired (by Walt himself, many say) for Disneyland’s entertainment department.
Rest in piece, Ernie. Those who heard your music in the park and took a brief respite to listen certainly miss you.

I’m saddened to hear of his passing. I’ve only recently read about how amazing this man is earlier this year, and I told myself that I had to meet him and hear him play, and possibly listen to a story or two about his experiences in the park.
I’m sorry I never had such an opportunity. R.I.P. Ernest Mclean.

RIP Ernest “Ernie” Mclean. A Disneyland legend and amazing musician. Ernie was the last employee hired by Walt Disney himself and worked in the park nearly every day since 1966. New Orleans Square will never be the same. <3

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :3
Pretty insane! I would totally do this if I had the opportunity (and vacation funds, haha) !
I would like to see park tickets look more like this nowadays.
Agree?
I’ve been going to Disneyland since I was 3 and I NEVER used a stroller
YUP. THUG LYFE.
OH MY WORD THIS
I swear, every stroller at Disneyland thinks it has the right of way and doesn’t move, and then rolls over your toes and THEY DON’T APOLOGIZE because you didn’t move in time
every
single
trip
